pflag Canada Seeks Board Directors

pflag Canada, one of Canada’s most recognized national charitable organizations supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their families, is inviting applications to join its National Board of Directors.  Board service at pflag Canada offers an opportunity to contribute to the national direction of an organization whose reach extends to communities across the country, through chapters, advocacy, education, and direct family support.

pflag Canada operates as a working board, meaning directors engage actively in the governance and strategic life of the organization rather than serving in a purely advisory capacity. Candidates with backgrounds in marketing, communications, finance, law, education and advocacy are encouraged to apply, as are those with lived experience relevant to pflag Canada’s mandate.

The board is committed to reflecting the diversity of the communities it serves. pflag Canada welcomes applications from 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, racialized persons, people with disabilities, and others whose perspectives would strengthen the board’s collective capacity.
